The tournament brought together members of Alberta’s welding and industrial community for an afternoon focused on connection, competition, and supporting an important cause: investing in the next generation of welding professionals.
Supporting Welding Education in Alberta
Organized by the American Welding Society (AWS) Alberta Section, the tournament raises funds to support a high school welding program in Alberta.
AWS is a leading organization dedicated to advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes. Through education, certification, professional development, standards, and community engagement, AWS plays an important role in supporting the welding profession and the people working within it.
Local AWS sections, including the Alberta Section, help bring these efforts into the community by creating opportunities for professionals and organizations to connect, learn, and support the future of the industry.
For TECHEAT, supporting welding education means supporting the future of the industrial sector.
The funds raised through this tournament will help support that important work in Alberta.
The charity golf tournament provided an opportunity for professionals, companies, and industry partners to come together outside of the workplace while contributing to a meaningful cause.
